Greetings from Locks Heath, the original ‘Mulberry Bush’ nursery. Since 2013, we’ve made this a place where little minds grow big, and everyone feels safe, loved, and ready to explore.

Locks Heath is a place of

Expansions in 2016 and 2020 gave us even more inspiring spaces designed especially for curious children. From cosy nooks perfect for our youngest adventurers to big, bright rooms for our exploring toddlers and super-smart preschoolers, every part of our nursery is a fun learning adventure.

Individualised sensory rooms

We have a custom sensory room for every age group! These rooms are filled with amazing resources that spark imagination, stimulate developing minds, and offer both playful adventures and calming moments.

Outdoor spaces for adventure

Our garden is a place where children connect with nature, explore freely, and let their imaginations run wild. With two safe baby gardens—one featuring a covered sand play area at the back and the other with a shaded front garden—we provide ample space for running, climbing, digging, building, and getting those hands delightfully dirty. This setup enables more children to enjoy our outdoor environments safely in smaller groups.

The growing patch

Our very own growing patch is where our children can discover how healthy food grows! They learn by doing – planting, watering, harvesting, and even helping our chef prepare yummy and nutritious snacks.
