BITTERNE PARK

Welcome to Cranberries.

Ready those imaginations!

The Cranberries room is a world of discovery for our 18-month to 2-year-old explorers.

Filled with stimulating activities and a focus on learning through play, it’s the perfect place for your child to continue their adventure with us.

EXPLORATION AND PLAY FOR TODDLERS

Fostering kindness and belonging in our community.

Our Cranberries room is meticulously crafted for active and imaginative toddlers! Featuring a designated role-play section complete with costumes and a play kitchen, as well as cozy reading nooks for moments of quiet, your toddler will discover boundless opportunities for learning and development through play.

Sensory exploration

This is a beautiful age for sensory discovery! Our Cranberries room contains mirrors, light displays, and various textures to play with the senses and soothe the mind.

Messy play

Get ready for hands-on creativity! To encourage exploration, we experiment with body painting, playdough making, and sensory bins with rice and pasta.

Music and movement

We use song props, experiment with yoga, and use other activities to encourage body awareness, coordination, and connection to music.

GROWING TOGETHER

Nurturing social bonds at the Mulberry Bush.

As your child’s world expands, so will their social circles! They’ll build connections with both younger explorers and older ones, too. Sharing and playing together teaches them the importance of kindness and creates a sense of belonging within our ‘Mulberry Bush’ family.

When your little one is ready, this will ensure a happy and smooth transition to the Raspberries room, with us to guide them!

CRANBERRIES’ OUTDOOR ADVENTURES

From exploring the garden to experiencing sensory wonder.

Fresh air is just as essential as indoor joys for our Cranberries! They delight in exploring as they venture into the expansive garden areas in all seasons. The garden presents all sorts of physical challenges, encouraging the children to understand risk and how to manage it safely and appropriately.

In the spring and summer, they actively participate in tending to the growing area, helping to plant seeds, water the vegetables as they grow, and, of course, eventually helping to harvest them. These experiences foster a deep appreciation for nature and a tangible understanding of where our food comes from.
