What’s in the Raspberries room?

The Raspberries space is designed to help your child learn, play, and thrive. Special zones for building, creating, problem-solving, and teamwork support the amazing skills your child is developing.

Construction zone

This is the place where young engineers construct buildings, enhance fine motor skills, and grasp the fundamentals of physics and design.

Small world corner

An imaginative realm filled with miniature figures, vehicles, and scenes to inspire the growth of storytelling skills.

Mark-making and maths area

A place to express creativity, explore numbers, and develop pre-writing skills with a variety of tools and materials.

Role-play and dress-up

Where children transform into different characters and explore social interactions.

Reading corner

A comfortable space for quiet reading time, fostering a love of books and building those cosy reading nook memories.

Sensory room

This tranquil space with UV lighting, interactive equipment, and calming textures lets children explore their senses, relax, and find moments of focus.

READY TO TRANSITION TO THE ELDERBERRIES ROOM

A smooth and tailored experience for 2-3 year olds.

As your child gets ready for new challenges, we’ll support their transition to their last year with us in the Elderberries room.

We’ll work closely with you to ensure this experience is smooth, positive, and tailored to your child’s development.

We provide child-sized bathrooms in all areas to foster ongoing growth and independence, particularly during the pivotal stage of toilet training.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURES FOR OUR RASPBERRIES

Exploring nature and playing freely.

The Raspberries room opens directly onto our vibrant outdoor play area.

With easy indoor/outdoor flow, children can discover the forest zone, unleash creativity in the mud kitchen, and even develop gross motor skills on balance bikes!
