Notification of school placementNotification of school placement
Once you receive your child’s school placement, inform us of the school allocated to you. If you are appealing the school placement, please keep us updated.

Get to know you eventsGet to know you events
We organise several events and visits to ensure a smooth transition:
- Get to know you events: A member of our preschool team, usually the room leader, will attend this event. Representatives from each school will be present, and our staff will discuss each child individually.
- Teacher visits: Teachers from the prospective schools will visit the children within our setting. If your child is absent, they will speak with your child’s key person.
- School visits: Some schools may invite us to attend a visit with your children.

Group adjustmentsGroup adjustments
Next, we will divide the preschoolers into two groups: school leavers and non-school leavers. At this point, your child’s key person may change to focus more intently on getting them ready for school.
July
Development summary and parents' eveningDevelopment summary and parents' evening
Your child’s key person will write a comprehensive summary of your child’s development. This summary will be shared during a parents’ evening in July and passed on to the schools to ensure a smooth transition.
